Security Cooperation International Programs Review (SCIPR)
Nashville, TN. 23 - 27 March 2020
The Program Executive Officer for Aviation Common Systems and Commercial Services (PEO(CS)) Security Cooperation Program Office is pleased to announce the plan for the third annual International Programs Review to be held in Nashville, TN scheduled for 23 – 26 March 2020.

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) with the Program Executive Offices are aligned to the Office of the Secretary of Defense's, National Defense Strategy by reshaping a "new" NAVAIR that dramatically increases material readiness and the speed of delivering new capabilities to the Fleet. NAVAIR is also pursuing the Office of the Secretary of Defense's (OSD) objective of expanding the US Navy's ability to rapidly meet global requirements by aligning support "Closer to the Flight Line".

The purpose of the Security Cooperation International Program Review (SCIPR) forum is to build upon the above objectives, by identifying the processes and lessons experienced, so that the community can leverage the outstanding maintenance and engineering capabilities of our international and industry partners for improved readiness, as well as the introduction of new capabilities.

This year the SCIPR will introduce, "The SCIPR Innovation Panel" to address "Solutions for Today's Aviation Challenges". The format will be similar to the television show "Shark Tank" or "Dragon's Den" in many other countries. The panel will be comprised of our international participating members. There will be an international working meeting during the SCIPR before the Panel review.

There is no registration fee to attend. Space for the SCIPR 2020 meeting is limited. To make sure all of our International Partners have lodging at the meeting site and enough seats for the meeting we have established criteria that follow for attendance. Separate invitations are being sent out.

A “draft" agenda for the SCIPR meeting is available. The final agenda will be posted at a later date. Specific times will be allocated for side sessions.

Questions can be forwarded to the NAVAIR Director, International Logistics & Industrial Operations Group, Ron Weinberger, at (301) 757-8362, e-mail ronald.weinberger@navy.mil, or to our SCIPR Support Office representative, Paul Goldenberg, at (919) 665-0578, email paul.goldenberg@zenetex.com.
